Job Description - Assistant Marketing Manager

HIGHVERN, a prominent independent professional services firm, specialises in providing top-tier fiduciary, corporate, and fund administration services to international private capital and commercial sectors. With oversight from the Senior Marketing Manager, the Assistant Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in executing strategic marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing the firm’s business recognition, profile, and effectiveness. The successful candidate will focus on driving brand awareness, improving internal communications, and promoting HIGHVERN’s unique selling propositions across multiple locations, including but not limited to Jersey, Guernsey, Switzerland, Ireland, Cayman, and London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing and brand strategies, highlighting client service quality, expertise, innovation, and ESG credentials
  • Create and distribute expert content through owned, earned, and paid channels to showcase HIGHVERN’s capabilities
  • Craft and disseminate impactful press releases to increase brand visibility
  • Assist in managing the group’s brand guidelines to ensure consistency and alignment with the desired image
  • Support the implementation of digital and non-digital advertising strategies to reinforce campaigns and events
  • Assist in establishing and executing an internal communications programme across all locations
  • Monitor competitor activity in branding and marketing and provide insightful analysis
  • Contribute to establishing marketing policies, processes, and supplier relationships efficiently
  • Provide support in generating high-quality reporting and analytics for management committees
  • Draft client-centric communications across diverse channels
  • Enhance HIGHVERN’s profile through innovative online and offline initiatives using data-driven approaches
  • Develop and maintain corporate and employer brands, establishing a consistent tone of voice
  • Provide support and advice to colleagues on effective communication strategies
  • Cultivate productive relationships with agencies and media
  • Support in developing and executing video projects to enhance content across owned channels

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in marketing and communications, preferably in a professional services firm, with understanding of digital marketing
  • Ability to manage strategic campaigns, write and edit compelling copy while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and data protection regulations
  • Proactive approach and ability to translate strategy into actionable plans
  • Experience in video content creation would be advantageous
  • Ensure marketing needs are met across various locations while complying with relevant policies and regulations
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and alignment with vision and values
  • Support client-facing teams with pitch production
  • Collaborate with the senior marketing manager for sign-off on materials
  • Experience in implementing data protection in marketing and internal communications tools is advantageous

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Demonstrable marketing experience with a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Proven ability to identify target audiences and devise engaging cross-channel marketing content
  • Sound understanding of local markets and relevant sectors
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage projects efficiently
  • Collaborative behaviour, organisational skills, and flexible prioritisation
  • Excellent communication skills in various forms
  • Strong project management skills to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery of projects
