In our Corporate Risk and Broking Retail line of business, we provide appropriate and innovative Insurance Programmes for our Clients. Our clients rely on us to craft strategies to quantify, mitigate, and transfer risk, taking advantage of our specialist industry experience and unparalleled market know-how.
WTW helps clients lower their total cost of risk (TCOR) by leveraging the expertise of our claims team to get claims paid quickly, efficiently, and appropriately. Claims incidents can create uncertainty for organisations, we work to provide clarity. Our service delivery platform enables us to resolve the simplest to the most complex claims through our tactical and technical offerings, supported by customised analytic tools.The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to provide a superior claims service to your nominated client portfolio and to protect your clients’ best interests at all times while achieving the best possible outcome for all claims. This will be embodied through achieving the highest standards of customer care, efficiency and compliance and Teamwork. Your role as in the team will include the following elements:
Customer Care
Proactively deal with all aspects of client claims from notification through to settlement
Deliver excellent client service in an efficient and friendly manner
Provide best in class advice and ensure the client is kept fully informed of all developments
Support Account Executives/Brokers by maintaining excellent relationship with the client and keeping them fully informed of important developments
Demonstrate a clear understanding of the Claims Environment including the Injuries Board and Irish Legal System
Have a clear understanding of policy covers across all classes of non-life insurance
Foster beneficial relationships with Insurers and Loss Adjustors
Implement agreed claims handling protocols
Preparation of claims data for internal/external end-users
Ability to sell the claims service
Robustly challenge Insurers’ strategy/reserves where necessary.
Efficiency and Compliance
Maintain Company Standards including Compliance and Willis Excellence Model
Understand the claims process
Participate in project work.
Teamwork
Co-operate with colleagues in a supportive, friendly, and professional manner
Support with the completion of administration work.
The Requirements
CIP qualified
Experience of working in a claim’s role in an Insurance Broker, Insurer or Loss Adjuster/Assessor
Insurance Product Knowledge
Excellent communication skills, you articulate information clearly, present information effectively and confidently.
Client and claims advocacy, you identify customer’s needs, develops positive relationships, and provide solutions that meet customers’ expectations.
Flexible approach to work, team player and demonstrate, you demonstrate a keen willingness to learn.
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritise work and keeps work on schedule, you have attention to detail and thrive in an environment that is always changing.
Negotiation skills, you are capable of solving problems and working using your own initiative
Good IT skills including a high level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, you are advanced Excel user.
