  Overall Purpose of the Job

  Responsible for the general cleaning of the premises in accordance specification, under the directionof the cleaning supervisor. Ensuring all cleaning equipment and materials are handled and used in thecorrect way in accordance with the COSHH data sheet and under BIC specification.

  Main duties and responsibilities

  • Vacuum carpeted areas as needed

  • Mop and buff vinyl/hard floor areas as needed

  • Clean toilets

  • Polish glass and brass work as needed

  • Collect and dispose of rubbish

  • Ensure safe use of cleaning materials and equipment

  • Work safely for self and others

  • Display appropriate signage for safety

  • Report defects or safety issues promptly

  • Remain security conscious, report suspicious incidents

  • Participate in job-related training.

  Working Pattern

  Monday to Friday 2 pm to 5 pm. 15 hours per week.
