CONSULTANCY PROJECT MANAGER, BASED IN RABAT, MOROCCO
The Danish Institute for Human Rights is looking for a dynamic person to manage our portfolio of work in Morocco starting in June 2024.
The right candidate has solid project management skills and is highly interested in learning how to work with state actors with a human rights mandate and professionally deepen his/her substantive knowledge and expertise in human rights.
The project manager will be working directly with a senior adviser based in Rabat and with a team in Copenhagen and in the region.
The Danish Institute for Human Rights (the Institute) is an independent state-funded institution. Our mandate is to promote and protect human rights and equal treatment in Denmark and abroad. We co-operate with state actors on the respect, protection, and fulfilment of human rights by providing substantive, organisational and processual advice to these actors. As a project manager you will support the implementation of the Danish Institute for Human Rights’ engagement in Morocco and your work is funded by the Danish-Arab Partnership Programme (DAPP). Read more about DAPP here, .
As a project manager, the consultant shall:
A very strong requirement of the position is that you are very good in working collaboratively to achieve common goals.
As the duty station is Rabat, Morocco only applicants with permits to work and reside in the country will be considered.
The Institute offers fee rate range between 1900 and 2200 EUR per month and the exact fee will be based on the candidate’s unique combination of experience and skills. The consultant is responsible for the payment of all applicable taxes accruing on the remuneration according to the national law and tax legislation.
Please note this is a time-restricted position running from June 2024 until June 2025.
