In the role of Custody Associate in Citco you are a valued and pivotal member of a client centric team that has its primary responsibilities focused on the delivery of accurate and timely client driven deliverables for a variety of hedge funds encompassing a wide spectrum of complexity. As a member within the team, you will generate a collaborative and productive environment where you deliver a consistent high level of support to guarantee a quality end to end service including co-ordination with other business areas to ensure superior client service.

Your Role:

• Execute trade instruction from investment managers, incorporating order placement, document completion and payment processing.
• Processing of the client’s portfolio transactions, and the finalizing of trade events as required
• Resolving client/administrator queries in a timely and effective manner
• Performing the administration of any services pursuant to administration agreements and depository agreements in respect of a portfolio of hedge funds
• Reconciling Citco’s position to the market on a daily or monthly basis; carrying out investigations and taking corrective action as required
• Calculating fund fees and expenses and coordinating payment of same (ensuring follow up);
• Develop and maintain relationships with investors, investment advisors / managers, administrators, banks, brokers and auditors
• Working with back office group and liaising with other departments within Citco as required
• Meeting expectations of fund participants, adhering to deadlines
• Monitor terms of fund offering and ensure compliance with same;
• Clear two-way reporting within team structure;
• Clear familiarity with all Custody systems and their functionality;
• Any other duties which the organization may require as part of the business

About You:

• A strong academic record
• Knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel etc )
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance related are preferred
