Job Description - FACILITIES SUPPORT V

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Facilities Team conduct facilities and property administration, office planning, corporate leasing and/or real estate coordination. They work closely and provide advice and counsel to company and/or vendor representatives coordinating major facility constructions or modifications or leasing and real estate activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Carry out day-to-day maintenance and monitoring routines on a plant wide basis e.g. Daily PM checks on plant & equipment, change light bulbs, waste management etc.
  • Ensure the upkeep of buildings and grounds and provide facilities assistance when required.
  • Provide technical support for all Manufacturing Areas, supporting and delivering services and utilities.
  • Interact with other departments to co-ordinate Facilities equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Carry out desk and office moves, and assist in equipment and line moves as required.
  • Liaise with and supervise 3rd party contractors in PM and installation activities ensuring all work is performed on-time, as specified, in a cost-effective manner while maintaining GMP and health and safety standards.
  • Participate in Energy Management and/or Environmental initiatives/programmes.

Key Requirements

  • Must have good hands-on general maintenance skills.
  • Basic mechanical/electrical/plumbing knowledge would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, the ability to work on their own and within a team environment.
  • Good PC skills and ACAD skills would be an advantage.
  • Proven track record of excellent time keeping flexibility & attendance is essential.
