The Organisation:
Stewarts is a voluntary organisation providing comprehensive community based services to people with an intellectual disability. We support people with a wide range of support needs across residential settings, day services, supported independent living, job advocacy and vocational training.
The Role:
As HR Officer the successful candidate will join the existing HR team providing a comprehensive service across all aspects of the Human Resources function while contributing to the overall achievement of the organisation’s strategy. You will provide hands on, efficient and confidential Human Resources services to Managers and colleagues across the organisation in line with relevant legislation and best practice. In addition, the role will provide opportunity to be involved in projects as part of the continuous improvement process. The successful candidate will have the ability to build excellent relationships at every level in the organisation.
Candidates must meet the following criteria relevant to the role:
Minimum Level 7 award on the National Framework of Qualifications, or recognized equivalent, in human resources, business management or related discipline;
Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience in a busy HR Department is required (this may include a period of remote working)
Proficient in MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint; and database management
Strong analytical, organisational and administrative skills, with proven excellent attention to detail;
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, adapting to the situation, the information being communicated and the recipients of what is being communicated;
Excellent interpersonal skills with proven confidence to establish and maintain strong working relationships and networks;
Ability to work independently using own initiative and also as an effective team member;
Ability to work accurately and efficiently under challenging time constraints;
Flexible and adaptable approach to tasks, with a focus on continuous improvement to drive efficiency.
Salary and qualifications are in accordance with Department of Health consolidated pay scales: Clerical Grade IV salary scale: €33,422 - €52,253 LSI per annum.
