WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Project Manager to oversee various projects within Kerrygold Park. They will have responsibility for the co-ordination and roll-out of all new items (Packaging and product). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent organizational skills, and experience in the food industry.They will have a strong interaction with the Central Innovation Team. They will work across all functions in Kerrygold Park to ensure the smooth introduction of all new projects. They will assist with factory trials and customer visits.

 

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

 

  • Project Planning and Execution:
    1. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
    2. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
    3. Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to meet objectives.
  • Team Interactions:
    1. Lead and motivate project teams, providing clear direction and support.
    2. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
    3. Conduct regular project meetings to track progress and resolve issues.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    1. Maintain regular communication with external and internal stakeholders.
    2. Provide detailed project reports and updates to the Head of Commercial.
    3. Manage expectations and ensure stakeholder satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    1. Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
    2. Implement best practices in project management and food production.
    3. Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to enhance project outcomes.
  • Supporting Trials
    1. Plan and communicate the details of trial.
    2. Ensure alignment on timings and resources.
    3. Support at line.
    4. Document and record the outcomes.
  • Factory Visits
    1. Support the Commercial team & Office Manager with visits.
    2. Facilitate factory tours.
    3. Present KGP Customer Presentation, as required.  

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Food Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of project management experience in the food industry.
  • Proven track record of managing projects from initiation to completion.
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality control standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of personal integrity and professionalism
  • Possess good communication, planning and organisational skills
  • A passion for food
  • Good knowledge of dairy manufacturing and/or butter products
  • Good Communication and Presentation skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
