Maintenance Technician

About the Role:

• Full-time, permanent position.
• Day shifts, Monday to Friday.
• Located in Sligo.

Responsibilities:

As a Technician, you will:

• Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on critical production machinery, such as injection moulding machines.
• Perform both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting across various production lines.
• Provide support for both planned and unexpected maintenance activities.
• Maintain optimal machinery efficiency and operational uptime.
• Carry out periodic safety checks on all equipment.
• Comply with all health and safety standards, ensuring a clean and orderly work environment.
• Independently address equipment malfunctions to prevent damage or potential safety issues.
• Collaborate effectively with the maintenance team to enhance machinery performance and reliability.

Requirements:

• Accredited apprenticeship in Mechanical Fitting, or a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with industrial maintenance software.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
• Capable of both team collaboration and autonomous work.
