POSITION:Receptionist
REPORTS TO:Membership Manager
CONTRACT:One Year - Fixed Term
LOCATION:Our national office is based at Tallaght in south Dublin.
MODEL OF WORKING:This role is office based and not eligible for a blended working model.
Job Purpose
The key function of the Reception role is to facilitate the members, service users and other stakeholders needs both in person and on the telephone, while maintaining excellent customer service levels. They will further enhance the service we provide to our members and service users, playing a pivotal role in the achievement of our mission, which is to support and empower our members to provide the highest quality Early Learning and Care and School Age Childcare services for children.
It is critical that the role holder has sound knowledge of all the work of Early Childhood Ireland and is a self-starter who knows exactly where to find the answers or how to direct queries whilst maintaining a positive and calm demeanour. This is a sensitive role which requires an individual with the ability to handle confidential information and empathise with our members and service users with a compassionate, professional public image and the ability to liaise and communicate at all levels with sincerity, warmth, efficiency, and flexibility is essential.

Contract detailsThis is a one-year fixed term post reporting to the Membership Manager subject to funding, and the probationary period is six months.
Salary:A salary in the range is offered €26,186 to €28,207. The agreed salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Annual Leave Entitlement23 days
Hours of Work35 hour working week. The position will also require participation in some meetings/events in the evenings and at weekends.
