Reservations Agent and Receptionist

Duties:

• Answer all calls in a timely and friendly manner
• Provide our guests with details of hotel and local amenities and attractions
• Dealing with and resolving guest queries
• Carry out all Reservation duties as per the agreed standard
• Maximizing sales by promoting a positive image to potential guests on the telephone
• Develop a good local knowledge in order to answer any guest queries
• Ensuring the highest level of customer care at all times
• To take every opportunity to maximise revenue through the use of Yield Management and occupancy controls.
• To compile quotations for business enquiries, dealing with the follow up administration on calls, showing guests/potential corporate clients the facilities of the Hotel
• To communicate necessary information from the above weekly meetings to all staff through Memo/Passover book
• Maintain guest profiles to ensure that the hotel continues to exceed expectations

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous Revenue/Reservations/Events experience in a hotel environment preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
• Experience using Opera system preferred
• Good project co-ordination & communication skills
