Job Description - Sales Support Administrator

Contract:  Fixed Term - Maternity Cover

Location: Hybrid Working - The Irish Times, Tara Street Dublin 2

Irish Times Training, a division of The Irish Times Group, is seeking a passionate and proactive Sales Support Administrator to join our expanding team.

Role summary

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the sales administrator is a vital support role for the sales team, providing administrative and customer service assistance. The sales administrator is responsible for processing bookings, preparing invoices, updating records, handling queries, and liaising with clients.

Key responsibilities

Process sales bookings and invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Update and maintain sales records and databases, using CRM software and spreadsheets

Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing solutions or escalating issues as needed

Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, such as sales managers, suppliers, and delivery partners

Support sales team with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, proof reading and faculty engagement

Key requirements

Proven experience as a sales administrator or a similar role in a sales or customer service environment

Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and CRM software

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask

High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to follow procedures and guidelines

Team player with a positive and proactive attitude, willing to learn and adapt
