Senior Buyer Planner

DSJ Global is working with a leading medical device company based in Galway, Ireland to find an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Buyer Planner. This permanent position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic team environment while contributing your skills towards inventory management, production planning and site supply. Key Responsibilities: Supply Chain Management
- Manage supplier relationships ensuring timely delivery of high-quality goods at competitive prices.
- Develop long-term procurement strategies that are aligned with business objectives.
- Implement effective inventory controls through regular monitoring of stock levels. Production Planning
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (such as operations) on demand forecasting and capacity planning activities.
-Supports manufacturing schedules by reviewing plans against customer demands; evaluating current progress vs schedule performance targets SAP Expertise
- Utilize SAP software programs such as S/4HANA or MM module etc., for purchasing processes including purchase orders receipt processing/material tracking coordination/purchasing analysis/reporting functions


Site Supply Coordination
- Supervising internal resources assigned to manage local vendors' service level agreements
-Managing inbound freight logistics efficiently


Qualifications & Experience :
-A minimum Bachelor's degree preferably from relevant field i.e Engineering / Business Administration / Operations Research
-Proven experience operating across international markets handling complex vendor contracts/sourcing practices
-Ideally hold expertise utilizing ERP systems like Oracle/SAP/Microsoft Dynamics/etc.,
