Position Details:

• Job Title: Catering Assistant
• Location: Dublin 6
• Shifts: 7am – 5pm (shifts may vary based on clients’ needs)
• Rate of Pay: €15.90 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals in a canteen/kitchen setting.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work surfaces, equipment, and storage areas.
• Ensure all kitchen utensils, equipment, and dishes are washed, dried, and properly stored.
• Keep the kitchen pantry organized and well-stocked with necessary ingredients and supplies.
• Dispose of waste materials appropriately, following waste management procedures.
• Conduct regular stock checks, record inventory levels, and report any shortages or discrepancies to supervisors.
• Adapt to various tasks as needed in a dynamic kitchen environment.
• Follow health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and safe operation of kitchen equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.

What You Need to Join Our Team:

• Previous experience in a busy kitchen or catering environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying shift patterns.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland (Visa/Work permit if needed).
• References spanning the past 5 years of employment.
• Proficiency in spoken English.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
