Location Overview :

Role Description:

The Transaction Manager will have responsibility for supporting the documentation, closing, compliance and monitoring associated with the purchase, financing, sale and leasing of commercial aircraft and other activities relating to the business. Reporting to the Head of Transaction Management, the successful candidate will support the existing Transaction Managers and Sales & Marketing associates in delivering and executing transactions for our customers including post-closing follow up and portfolio management. 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that clients are onboarded in the KYC system and that all legal representatives are approved in the banks systems.
  • Track Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). Liaise with the legal, Sales & Marketing teams and the client to assist in agreeing and executing NDAs.
  • Support and assist the existing Transaction Managers and Sales & Marketing teams in negotiating transactions; communicate and coordinate with internal cross functional transaction stakeholders.
  • Assist Transaction Managers in deal execution as they liaise with internal and external counsel to ensure that key areas of risk are addressed in transaction documentation in line with internal approvals, acceptable company standards and internal policies.
  • Work with legal, technical, finance and the banks vendor teams to document General Terms of Agreement (GTAs).  Ensure that appropriate approvals and variations are in place for each GTA and monitor and report up to date information in respect of GTAs.
  • Assist with gathering conditions precedent and post-closing deliverables to ensure we are compliant with the documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of Letters of Intent (LOIs) for sales and remarketing processes.  Work closely with Sales & Marketing teams to manage feedback from multiple clients to ensure key commercial issues are addressed both with the client as well as internally at term sheet stage.
  • Monitoring and maintenance of Letters of Credit, Monitoring and update of all insurances for the portfolio, liaising with the insurance team to ensure appropriate signoffs are in place.
  • Keeping Operations teams up to date with all portfolio updates.
  • Maintenance of BALI asset management tracking database (Leasepoint). General portfolio monitoring, data review and management of data. Identify key dates and essential provisions for efficient and accurate ongoing portfolio management.

Skills that will help:

  • Experience in contract administration, legal, documentation or related field.
  • Third Level Qualified Graduate in Business, Law, or related discipline.
  • Previous experience with cross border leasing structures, including aircraft operating leases and financing, is required.
  • Have commercial awareness, with strong client management and communication skills.
  • Excellent written, analytical, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Be a team player, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage concurrent activities and priorities.
