Accounts Payable Analyst

About the Company

Exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Analyst to join a construction company based in Dublin West. If you have experience in Accounts Payable and are looking for a new challenge, apply now to join their team.

About the Position

In this role you will coordinate and monitor all accounts payable activities in respect of the relevant Group functions. This will include ownership of Vendor reconciliations and control accounts. Attention to detail while achieving set deadlines are the essential to succeed in this Accounts Payable job.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of payments to Vendors as per the agreed payment schedule.
• Matching, coding and processing of Vendors Invoices and Credit Notes.
• Ensure invoice on hold targets are met.
• Work with all internal departments to attain proper approval for invoices.
• Reconciliation of vendors’ statements, as required.
• Produce monthly reports.
• Monthly close
• Other duties as assigned by Team Leader/Manager

Experience/Requirements

• Experience of processing AP invoices, bank & creditor statement reconciliations, posting of journal entries etc.
• Experience of Office 365 suite of software required.
• Experience of Evolution Accounts Software an advantage
• Good communication skills – ability to work with colleagues in-house as well as third party suppliers and contractors.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Diligence and attention to detail
• Construction Industry background preferred.
• Driving licence and own transport
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Part-qualified / support provided for further relevant studies.

Remuneration Package

• Salary of €40,000-€45,000
• Hybrid Working
• Bonus
• VHI contribution
