Job Description - Energy Engineer

Key Responsibilities Key tasks include, but are not limited to the following:
• Support the delivery of all operational activities associated with Retrofitting and refurbishing buildings
• Supporting the specification, development and implementation of policies and processes to address function-relevant issues
• Work with installation teams to properly test and validate installations, operation, and performance of heating, insulation, ventilation and electrical systems.
• Responsible for managing client expectations
• Attendance to regular progress meetings with clients as required.
• Ability to work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions.
• Travel to sites for site reviews and work with onsite field engineers, as well as provide engineering evaluations, system audits, and start-up as needed.
• Complying with the safety legislation, working in construction sites requires PSCS compliance.
• Ensure quality standards are met continually.
• Evidence of consideration of customer impact in all activities
• Work completed within specified timescales or negotiated where necessary
• Effective relationships built and feedback received
• Regular review of performance objectives

About the role The TLI Group Home Energy Services Team is looking to hire an experienced Energy Engineer to join our growing team. We design, build and maintain vital services, connecting people on behalf of our customers. Qualifications and Skills

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or other related discipline required
  • EU Driving License
  • Right to work in Ireland
Knowledge
  • 3-5 + years’ experience within the construction/building/retro fitting industry
  • Excellent understanding of the relevant Standards
  • Proficient use and knowledge of software such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, AutoCAD,
  • Working knowledge of MS Project
  • Ability to evidence recent relevant senior & people leadership experience.
Skills
  • Experience in people and line leadership
  • Demonstrable client facing skills with a client orientated approach.
  • Commercially astute
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, Organisational & Planning Skills
  • Able to balance competing priorities and meet personal targets within a fluctuating & demanding workload
