Fitout Supervisor

Your new company  

Hays has been retained to recruit a contract Fitout Supervisor role for an upcoming project based in Cork. This client is one of the largest commercial real estate services companies in Ireland.

Your new role  

This role will involve overseeing large fitout projects based around Cork City at a high level. Responsibilities include:

• Provide Project Oversight with regards to work efficiency, health & safety, progress and administration
• Review all EHS documents
• Oversee teams of workers across multiple sites
• Work with Project Management team to prevent unexpected delays
• Attend Project Management Meetings
• Act as client representative on-site
• Deal with enquiries from suppliers and subcontractors with assistance from Project Manager
• Maintain accurate reporting
• Participate in audits

What you'll need to succeed  

• 7+ years’ experience working within the construction industry
• Prior experience overseeing fitout projects, preferably in the commercial and industrial sectors.
• Knowledgeable in Health & Safety requirements onsite
• Able to work as part of a team, supporting and working with colleagues and sister departments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Excellent organizational skills with good attention to detail.
