Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Officer to join the team in Dublin/Kildare. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that projects adhere to the highest standards of safety, health, and environmental compliance. As a Senior EHS Officer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining EHS management systems, providing guidance to project teams, and fostering a culture of safety excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems in line with company policies and legal requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Provide EHS training and guidance to project teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
• Monitor and track EHS performance metrics, and prepare reports for management review.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients, and other relevant parties on EHS matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• Professional certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in EHS management, preferably within the construction or M&E industry.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and best practices, with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
