To work as part of the Accommodation Team.
· To ensure that all cleaning is done in accordance with the standards as set out by the Accommodation Manager.
· Accommodation Assistants may be required to work as Front of House Cleaners, Evening Housekeeping Assistants, as well as Linen Porters.
· To maintain all toilet facilities throughout the hotel including staff toilets and changing rooms in a clean and hygienic manner at all times. They will require checking and cleaning on a periodic basis throughout the day.
· To remove room service trays from guest bedrooms and place them in the corridors ensuring that they do not pose a health and safety risk.
· To assist all guests in the hotel at all times with any requirements that they may have. This could involve getting extra pillows, cups, irons, sheets, tea/coffee and ice etc.
· To take all reasonable precautions to ensure that the wellbeing of customers is never compromised.
· To be responsible for the cleanliness of any additional items that may be added to guest bedrooms or public areas at a future date.
· To replenish and tidy trolley at the end of shift.
· To ensure a high level of hygiene throughout the hotel at all times.
· To dispose of dirty linen following the agreed procedure.
· To have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all standards of performance and delivery within the accommodation department
· To develop a strong working relationship with colleagues in your department and related departments
The ideal candidate for this position:
