Your job, as Demand Business Planner, entails dynamic supply chain tasks, including demand analysis, participation in global meetings, inventory management, KPI reporting, and effective communication with both internal departments and external manufacturers to ensure seamless operations and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Main responsibilities:

• Review & analyse accuracy of demand information on an ongoing basis
• Attend and participate in local and global supply chain meetings
• Contribute to the preparation of local Demand IBP review on a monthly basis
• Ensure product ships in accordance with agreed inventory policy targets. Communicate effectively with all relevant departments to ensure this goal is achieved
• Assess stocking policy targets with Global supply chain team
• Liaise with Global supply chain to deal with all queries / problems in a prompt and professional manner
• Interact effectively & efficiently with third party contract manufacturers
• Raise Quality change controls and deviations/quality events as required

About you

Experience :

• experience in a customer service/ demand role within a manufacturing environment.

Soft and technical skills

• Strong knowledge of end-to-end planning systems eg. SAP.
• Excellent communication skills
• Improvement resulting in on-going change
• Focused on achieving results
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Work well as a team member

Education :

• Recognised third level qualification, preferably Irish Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management or APICS or equivalent.
