Car Valetor/General Operative

Waterford City Ford are recruiting an experienced Car Valetor /General Operative to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the ideal candidate to get involved in the Motor Industry! Have you previous Car Valeting Experience?

Responsibilities

• Preparing cars for hand over to sales and aftersales customers.
• Washing and cleaning vehicles using specialized tools, cleaning agents, and techniques to ensure a thorough cleaning.
• Polishing and waxing the exterior of vehicles to restore shine and protect the paint.
• Vacuuming and detailing the interior of vehicles, including the upholstery, carpets, and dashboard.
• Cleaning and shining wheels, tires, and rims.
• Inspect vehicles with sales/service person prior to customer handover.
• Maintaining a clean showroom, garage and yard in the dealership.
• To maintain the vehicle display areas in a clean and tidy condition and report defects
• Maintenance of Forecourt and rear yard of Waterford City Ford

Ideal Candidate

• Full clean driver's licence is essential.
• Be able to work well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team.
• Ability to work in a face paced and busy environment.
