Checkout Manager

Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service and standards in your department? Do you have prior experience managing teams? Excel Recruitment is currently seeking a Checkout Manager for our client based in Cork City.

Do you have a background as a checkout supervisor or checkout manager and currently seeking a new challenge? Our client is a high-volume retailer, who has an exceptional reputation for their fantastic store standards and level of customer service in the store.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing teams in a checkout environment, with the ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver market-leading standards.

Responsibilities:

• To support the customer service manager to ensure good employee relations
• To lead all members of the checkout team to deliver strong levels of customer service
• Ensure that all colleagues are trained in all aspects of customer service and SOPs
• Be proactive and vigilant in the management of security and stock loss and ensure relevant processes are strictly adhered to
• Regularly monitor and evaluate performance and standards and take relevant actions to achieve results
