Job Description - Customer Service Manager

At Italicatessen, we select, import, and distribute top quality Italian food and wine across Ireland. We carefully select our suppliers and products based on a criterion of excellence.

Our mission is to import Italian made products with exceptional price to quality ratios, that sell very well in Italy (as opposed to products made solely for export and thus of very low value). Part of the Musgrave Group, a company that remains family owned and over 147 years in business.

Italicatessen was formed over 20 years ago, located in Newtownmountkennedy. We select, import and distribute top quality Italian food and in to 32 counties. We have a work force of over 80 employees, with a large number of customers and suppliers.

Italicatessen Ltd, a leading company in importing and distributing top quality Italian food and wines, is looking for a Customer Service Manager to support the business growth.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, the Customer Service Manager will be part of the senior leadership team.

Description :

This is a broad role, including responsibility for all Customer Service aspects, supervising the team in the delivery of their daily KPIs

Supervising the order management process to ensure on-time performance and enhanced customer service satisfaction.

A hands on role at the heart of the operations which will work in collaborative manner with other departments such as sales, warehouse and drivers.

The successful candidate will improve customer service quality results by studying, evaluating and re-designing processes, establishing and communicating service metrics, monitoring and analysing results, implementing changes.

Develop and periodically report on agreed KPI’s

Drive the projects that are required to deliver our growth plans eg CRM System

Coaching direct reports with their development plans.

·Experienced customer service professional with a clear track record of delivery withing an operation which is fast paced and growing environment.

·Food industry knowledge

·A clear and effective communicator at all levels of organisation

·Hands on operator who can manage diverse demands, mentor/support direct reports and deliver expectations

·Self -starter, can take initiative, apply knowledge and make a difference

·Proven leader, capable of motivating and building effective teams.

·Capable of presenting an image of what best in class looks like and propose the steps need to bring the company on that journey.
