Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a dependable Field Service Engineer to bolster our dynamic team in Ireland. This position entails installing bathroom products in showrooms and delivering exceptional service by attending to repairs and maintenance at end users residences nationwide. The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical background, adept problem-solving abilities, and a steadfast commitment to customer satisfaction.

SONAS designs, manufactures and distributes a complete collection of bathroom products solution to homeowners and trade customers via a network of leading Bathroom & Tile Showrooms, Plumbers Merchants and Builders Providers. Field Service Engineer :

Joining our Customer Service Department, and reporting directly to our Quality and Compliance Manager, this is a field-based role. The ideal candidate will ensure our processes are top-notch while continuously finding ways to make them even better.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing and fitting a variety of bathroom products in showroom displays
• Promptly responding to service requests from our Aftersales Department, ensuring timely resolution of end user issues with professionalism
• Diagnosing issues, troubleshooting, and executing necessary repairs or replacements
• Providing feedback on products to the product development team
• Upholding meticulous records of all service calls, installations, repairs, etc.
• Generating comprehensive service reports detailing problems and solutions
• Adhering strictly to safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations

Main Requirements:

• Demonstrated 2 years+ plumbing experience in the bathroom sector in product installation, servicing, and repair
• Plumbing qualification desirable but not necessary
• Proficient technical skills with a knack for effectively diagnosing and troubleshooting product issues
• Familiarity with manual handling and adeptness in working with hand and power tools
• Strong organisational prowess and keen attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Commitment to adhering to health and safety guidelines
• Willingness to undergo any necessary internal or external training
• Flexibility to travel extensively across the Ireland
• Possession of a full Irish clean driving license
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Must be currently living in Ireland and hold a valid work permit
