IT SUPPORT SERVICES ENGINEER

Overview:

Secto Services Limited is Ireland’s leading Utilities, Engineering and Design Company. Over recent years the company has supported key clients including Eir, Meteor, E-net and National Broadband Ireland with a variety of important design and build projects. The company is currently expanding its services into new verticals and expanding rapidly. As a result, there is a requirement to expand our IT team and appoint an IT Support Services Engineer.

The professional IT Support Services Engineer will need to have extensive expertise in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange, and associated technologies. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the maintenance, configuration, migration, and management of Azure & 365 environments, along with implementing and optimizing collaboration solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem. The successful candidate must be capable of working on own initiative and have 2 years’ experience. This is an internal IT support role.

What you can do for us

Lead and manage IT projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals and are delivered efficiently.

Provide support to all levels of the business for a wide range of IT issues, especially within Microsoft environments (Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, knowledge in excel, sql).

Support IT Network infrastructure at all locations.

Collaborate with various departments to understand their IT needs and deliver effective solutions.

Maintain and configure network security devices, including wireless networks, .

Ensure the security, efficiency, and reliability of IT systems and projects.

Stay updated with the latest IT trends and technologies, recommending improvements to our IT strategies.

Support the company with ancillary functions including the on-boarding of new staff and their technical configurations.

Required Skills and Experience

Extensive experience in IT support, with a focus on Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Intune, excel, sql is essential. Comptia plus a bonus.

Proven track record in IT support and project management, with a focus on Microsoft technologies.

Strong leadership skills and experience in supporting team members.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented and proactive approach.

Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working with diverse teams.

Knowledge of Sonicwall firewalls and wireless networks is highly desirable.

Experience in planning, implementing, and managing IT projects.

Strong understanding of network infrastructure and security best practices.

Ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering skillsets for  development and growth.
