Job Description My Cork based client is looking to hire a Lead AI Engineer to join a growing AI team. This is a permanent opportunity with a hybrid working model. Key Responsibilities

I am looking to speak to a strong, experienced developer with a DevOps mindset who can bring an application from inception to production ensuring maintainability, quality, security and performance. The successful candidate will be expected to understand how to build, test, deploy and monitor enterprise grade applications using best practices.

An accomplished communicator both verbal and written.

Understanding of agile and software development life cycle concept.

Work as part of the development team to break down high level requirements into small, testable, releasable components.

Create effective automated tests.

Be able to work on several projects simultaneously.

Experience of working in a team-orientated, collaborative environment.

Ability to work to tight deadlines.

Provide support for critical applications running in a production environment.

Mentor colleagues as needed.

Key Requirements

Degree in computer science or equivalent experience

8+ years' experience

In depth knowledge of the following:

Python / Java

Azure Cloud

CI/CD using tools such as GitHub Actions

Automated testing

Docker and Kubernetes

Rest APIs

Authentication and Authorization frameworks

Databases (relational and non-relational)

Software development security fundamentals

Experience with any or all the following is an advantage:

Azure AI services

Generative AI and Large Language Models

Infrastructure as code e.g. Terraform

Linux admin

Scripting e.g. Bash
