As a Production Supervisor at Baker Hughes in Shannon, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the production operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe execution of production processes, meeting quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your strong leadership skills and technical expertise will contribute to the success of the production team.

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Supervise and coordinate production activities, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines, quality standards, and production schedules.

• Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to optimize efficiency and productivity.

• Lead and motivate a team of production operators, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and employee development.

• Work with both planning teams (project and base) to create working plans for each week considering the capacity of the team and re-assign team members to other teams where needed.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance, to resolve production issues and drive process improvements.

• Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance logs.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the production team.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.

• Proven experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control and safety standards.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Ability to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Proficiency in using production management software and tools.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
