Job Description - Chat Support Manager - Work from home

Job Description:


Airbnb Ireland is seeking a Chat Support Manager to join our team, working remotely from home in Waterford, Munster, IE. This is a full-time position at a mid-to-senior level, requiring a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will be resourceful and confident, with a strong focus on creativity and innovation.


Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee a team of chat support agents, ensuring excellent customer service and support - Develop and implement strategies to optimize chat support operations - Monitor and analyze chat support metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement - Provide ongoing training and support to chat support agents - Handle escalated customer queries and issues as needed - Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in chat support


Requirements: - 8+ years of experience in chat support/customer service roles - Proven experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and remotely - Proficiency in chat support software and tools - Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
