Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Customer Support Manager to join our team at IBM Ireland in Waterford, Munster. This position is full-time and requires a mid-to-senior level candidate with at least 6 years of experience in customer support or a related field.
Responsibilities: - Manage a team of customer support representatives to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction - Develop and implement strategies to improve customer support processes and procedures - Monitor key performance indicators and metrics to track team performance and identify areas for improvement - Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and product development, to address customer inquiries and issues - Handle escalated customer complaints and provide timely resolutions - Conduct regular training sessions for team members to enhance their product knowledge and customer service skills - Analyze customer feedback and trends to identify opportunities for product or service enhancements - Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
Requirements: - 6+ years of experience in customer support or a related field - Bachelor's degree in business administration, communication, or a related field - Proven track record of leadership and innovation in customer support management - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail - Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively - Experience with CRM software and ticketing systems - Previous experience in a remote work environment is a plus
