What does this role entail?

We are currently seeking a Security Operations Lead to join the team at Fenergo. As part of the team, you will play a pivotal role in reducing risks such as Cyber-attacks, breaches and insider threat. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating the complex landscape of fintech security, ensuring our operations remain secure, compliant, and resilient. Your Responsibilities

  • Define, deliver, and report on security operations services for Fenergo enterprise.
  • Lead threat program and associated service offerings for Fenergo enterprise.
  • Lead team delivering to catalogue of security operation services.
  • Manage and mature security operations service catalogue to ensure Fenergo protected against the latest cyber threats.
  • Design and develop logging and monitoring operations improvements to scale security visibility and insight across Fenergo’s enterprise.
  • Triage and respond to security alerts and potential incidents.
  • Work directly with Fenergo Trust & Security lead to define and deliver to Security operations solution that meet security maturity program requirements.
  • Ensure Fenergo solutions are compliant with external regulatory, and compliance needs for security operations.
  • Lead in all enterprise-wide projects and programs requiring security operations input.
  • Provide consultancy support on security operations for specific client engagements working closely with our professional services organizations.
  • Drive Fenergo’s asset Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM) and Policy Compliance function.

Core Services delivered by this function:

  • Threat impact assessments
  • Endpoint and Network device baseline configuration assessments in line with industry standards (CIS).
  • Endpoint and Network vulnerability management.
  • Patching assurance reporting.
  • Security consultations with stakeholders.
  • Malware prevention controls and response.

Requirements

Key Expectations

  • At least 5 years working experience working designing, building and/or implementing security part of software lifecycle processes.
  • Practical experience of security technologies and implementations
  • Practical experience of addressing cyber-security in hybrid on-premises/cloud or all-cloud environments.
  • An up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft’s platforms and security controls relating to them.
  • Ability to implement service type security solutions, managed and measured.
  • A strong technical background in Security technology stacks
  • Good knowledge of international security standards – ISO 27001
  • Good knowledge of offensive security and knowledge of current threat landscape.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage across multiple sensitive initiatives.
