Web Chat Assistant

Job Description:

CRH plc is seeking a Web Chat Assistant to join our team in Waterford, Munster, IE. As a Web Chat Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service through online chat support on our website. This role requires a confident and hardworking individual with strong communication skills and the ability to think critically and innovatively.

Responsibilities: - Engage with customers in real-time through online chat to answer queries and provide assistance - Provide accurate and up-to-date information on products, services, and promotions - Assist customers with order processing, payment issues, and general inquiries - Work closely with the customer service team to resolve complex issues and ensure customer satisfaction - Monitor chat performance metrics and strive to improve response times and customer satisfaction ratings - Stay informed about company policies, products, and services to provide accurate information to customers - Identify opportunities for improvement in the online chat support process and suggest innovative solutions

Requirements: - 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field - Strong communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly and effectively - Confidence in engaging with customers online and providing exceptional service - Hardworking and dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction - Ability to think critically and come up with innovative solutions to customer problems - Experience with online chat support platforms or customer service software is a plus
