Web Chat Officer

As a Web Chat Officer at DHL in Waterford, Munster, IE, your primary responsibility will be to provide customer support through online chat platforms. You will be the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance with their shipping and logistics inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing solutions in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities: - Engage in real-time chat conversations with customers to address their questions and concerns - Provide accurate and relevant information regarding DHL services, shipping procedures, rates, and delivery times - Assist customers with tracking their shipments, resolving delivery issues, and processing claims when necessary - Collaborate with other teams within the organization to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer inquiries - Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail - Meet and exceed performance metrics, including response time, resolution rate, and customer feedback scores - Stay informed about industry trends, DHL services, and best practices in customer service

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience - Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively - Adaptable and reliable, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude - Excellent presentation skills and attention to detail - Proficiency in computer systems and software applications - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
