Job Description:
As a Web Chat Officer at IBM Ireland in Waterford, Munster, you will be responsible for engaging with customers through web chat to provide support, answer inquiries, and resolve issues. Your primary objective will be to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for all individuals interacting with the company online.
Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate information through web chat - Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate team members - Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely resolution of customer concerns - Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy in all customer interactions - Keep detailed records of customer interactions and transactions - Continuously improve knowledge of products and services to better assist customers - Meet or exceed established performance goals for response times and customer satisfaction
Requirements: - 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field - Resourceful and resilient personality traits - Strong project management and cooperation skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment - Proficiency with web-based communication tools and technology - Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
