This is an exciting opportunity to design full-stack solutions for data, integration, infrastructure and application systems, on various platforms and technologies including cloud (hybrid and on-premise) and newer integration technologies, which require modern design practices and the opportunity to remain relevant.

We are looking for someone with enthusiasm to take responsibility for developing their career and contribute actively to the solution design competency. You have a growth mentality with excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Technical leadership and stakeholder management is vital for this role and experience on delivery in agile and waterfall as well as hybrid delivery methodologies.
You have a consistent track record of solid and current solution architecture experience on large and complex solutions including various technologies and platforms with the ability to upskill in specific vendor solution or technical capability areas to include into solutions successfully. Experience to include Integration and data designs on modern and mature technologies.
Experience with any of the following will help you to stand out but is not necessary in order to apply for this role;
3rd level degree in an engineering or architecture field or equivalent experience.
The Solution Design team's vision is ".. to develop a best-in-class practice that is highly skilled at solution, application and data architecture, that is strategically focused and that provides design assurance and thought leadership to our customers in Bank of Ireland."
The Enterprise & Digital team consists of a number of highly experienced Senior Solution Architects focusing to deliver high quality designs across business- and technical domains with strong collaboration skills and tolerance to ambiguity and delivery pressures.
The team works remotely with regular virtual sessions for synergy and unity as well as in person events quarterly.
