This is a fantastic opportunity to support the delivery of existing and new services within our Application Operations team. You will be a key player in delivering Murex or SAP Rise technical support and knowledge as a Reliability Engineer and engaging with support partners and projects to ensure smooth delivery and operations of key IT services underpinning Bank of Ireland business functions.
In this role, you will:
You have a good technical knowledge in either Murex or SAP Rise.
You have a record of accomplishment in dealing with multiple service providers while ensuring a great service for customers, questioning and challenging how we do things today with view to making them better tomorrow, this will make you stand out!.
Your knowledge of IT service delivery within a financial organisation bringing familiarity with financial products and financial terms will give you an advantage.
You will have experience in dealing with international outsource vendors and be able to demonstrate your ability to manage your workload well under pressure and to operate in a decisive and inclusive manner. You will also understand Compliance, Risk and Controls.
There are no specific qualifications or minimum educational requirements needed for this role.
Application Operations are a part of the wider Group Technology and Customer Solutions within Bank of Ireland and we operate a dynamic fast paced environment with responsibility for the end-to-end support, management and evolution of critical IT services that support the Business of Bank of Ireland.
The unit is accountable for the running, security, maintenance, risk management and performance of key services, with delivery managed through the governance of strategic partners. The scope of the role is varied, and no two days will be same. There will be opportunities to broaden your breadth of knowledge and learn next technologies.
This is a hybrid onsite role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as ITC, Cabinteely, Dublin 18. Travel will be required for in-person collaboration - exact frequency to be agreed with manager. #LI-HYBRID #IJ-HYBRID
