Solutions Engineer

We are seeking a talented, growth-minded, and dynamic Solutions Engineer specializing in cyber security to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving the technical aspects of our security solution sales, collaborating closely with our sales, services, and partners to deliver cyber security and data protection solutions that meet our clients’ unique needs.

Responsibilities:

– Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their cyber security or data protection requirements and challenges to recommend appropriate Trellix solutions.

– Lead technical discussions, demonstrations, and presentations, effectively communicating the value proposition of our security solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

– Collaborate with sales teams to develop comprehensive proposals, deliver technical workshops and proofs of concept aligned to customer use cases and specific requirements.

– Conduct assessments of our clients' existing security infrastructure, identifying gaps and recommending improvements with Trellix.

– Build and maintain technical champions in our client’s security and IT infrastructure teams.

– Represent Trellix at industry and partner events. Public Speaking may be required.

– In conjunction with sales teams, drive pipeline growth through local events, solution webinars and partner training

– Stay updated on industry trends and emerging threats in cyber security to continuously enhance our solutions and customer value

Qualifications:

– Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as part of security vendor or systems integrator.

– Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including endpoint detection and response, network security, incident response, response, security operations, threat hunting and threat intelligence

– Hands-on experience with 2 or more security technologies such as endpoint detection and response, network detection and response, XDR and data loss prevention.

– Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and business value propositions to diverse audiences.

– Proven track record of successfully selling complex security solutions in enterprise environments.

– Industry certifications such as GIAC or CEH are a plus.

– Current or previous UK Security Clearance is a plus

– Previous experience with Fireye or McAfee Enterprise technologies is a plus
