Job Description - Temporary Receptionist

We are seeking a reliable Holiday Cover Receptionist to join our clients team from 6th June to 14th June in their Ballymount branch . The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations during this period by providing excellent front-desk service and handling various administrative tasks.

Main Duties:

  • Greet and welcome guests as they enter the building.
  • Answer incoming phone calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Take accurate messages and ensure they are delivered to the correct recipient in a timely manner.
  • Provide general information and assistance to visitors.
  • Maintain a clean and organised reception area.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritise effectively.
  • Professional appearance and demeanour.
  • Proficiency in using basic office equipment such as telephones, computers, and printers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
