Job Description - Nursery teacher

Luttrell House Crèche was established in 2001 and is known for its excellent high-quality education-based standards. The needs of the children are our priority and the staff we employ have high standards of care to ensure we give children the absolute best start in life; working alongside their parents to ensure their little ones get the best care they deserve to become their best self.

Educational Qualifications
QQI Level 6 or higher
The following certificates will be required:
First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Safety Certificate, Child Protection Certificate and HACCP certificate Aistear and Siolta training, CPD on-going training will be organised for the suitable candidate.
Police vetting will apply in Ireland and separately, should you have lived outside of Ireland in the last 06 months.

We need an assistant to work alongside an experienced (Spanish) teacher.
Duties
Plan and implement a quality programme of Education for children by implementing the Aistear curriculum and Siolta standards.
Take care of the physical needs of the children (changing nappies, wiping noses, washing hands etc)
Taking care of the educational needs by singing, reading, playing suitable games, and ensuring that the children have a consistent routine each day.
Creating an environment that will allow the children to build on their Schemas by studying the Aistear and Siolta guide.
Documenting and recording your observations and planning accordingly.
Completing records and sharing with parents on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Observe, record and report children’s progression and develop their interests.
Ensure an inclusive environment.
Adhere to and maintain all company policies and procedures.
Ensure courses are all kept up to date.
Attend meetings every 4 to 6 weeks with our Deputy Manager and attend bi-monthly meeting with the TEAM, after work.

A competitive salary between €14.50 to €15.50 per hour depending on Qualifications and Experience.
