We are urgently seeking   an Occupational Therapist  for a private hospital in Westmeath  Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Have a recognized qualification as an Occupational Therapist with CORU registration

• Have at least one year post-qualification experience as an Occupational Therapist in adult mental health services working alongside a multidisciplinary team

• Experience in developing and running therapeutic services and programmes including occupation-based and psycho-educational groups

• Experience working with individuals with complex mental health presentations 

• Knowledge of the Judgement Support Framework and experience supporting compliance with the same

• Knowledge of individual care planning and experience contributing to individual risk assessment

• Have a desire to support the ongoing development of the occupational therapy team with a willingness to engage in service development and quality improvement initiatives

• Have excellent communication and team-working skills

• Have excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a self-directed manner in a dynamic fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Qualification in Occupational Therapy

• CORU Registration

• 1-2 Years of experience in similar posts.

• Relevant Postgraduate Qualifications (desirable)
