Post Specific Related Information:

"The post holder will guide and support pre and post registration students (where applicable) and staff in assigned clinical practice to ensure that the clinical placements meet the requirements and standards of the education programme with regards to planned experiences and learning outcomes. Assist clinical midwifery managers with the orientation and induction of newly employed staff and newly qualified staff. Provide one to one support and mentoring for individual midwives if required. Undertake a skills analysis of midwives/nurse and when deficits in clinical skills are apparent introduce measures to address the training needs and put in place the support structures required in collaboration with CMM’s. "
