Location: Limerick, Cork, Dublin, Midlands – Ireland

Salary: €42,000 – €48,000 per year

About the Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced Security Systems Technician to install and commission access control and CCTV systems across commercial and enterprise environments. This is primarily project-based installation work, not ongoing service or maintenance. The expectation is a self-sufficient engineer with 2–3 years’ experience who can work independently—no hand-holding or close supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, configure, and commission access control and CCTV systems
2. Troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade security systems as needed
3. Work with enterprise-level systems such as Lenel, Honeywell, CCURE, Vanderbilt, or candidates with generic access control/CCTV experience
4. Collaborate with project teams and provide occasional training to end-users
5. Ensure work complies with industry standards and company procedures

Required Experience & Qualifications:

1. 2–3 years’ experience in security systems, preferably in project-based installation
2. Hands-on experience with access control and CCTV systems
3. Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, VLANs) and ability to read technical schematics
4. Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates
5. Full driving license
6. Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills

Desirable:

1. Certifications in Lenel, Honeywell, CCURE, Vanderbilt, or similar platforms
