Gourmet food parlour are excited to be on the lookout for a talented super-chef to join our vibrant culinary team as a Chef de Partie (CDP) and embark on a dynamic journey across our diverse range of restaurants. As a key member of our culinary brigade, you will contribute to the creation of exceptional dining experiences in various settings. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and versatile chef to showcase their skills in different cuisines and environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Culinary Expertise:
- Exhibit proficiency in the preparation and cooking of dishes across different cuisines.
- Ensure adherence to standardized recipes and maintain high-quality standards.
Multi-Restaurant Support:
- Rotate through different restaurant kitchens, bringing your expertise to each unique setting.
- Collaborate with kitchen teams to maintain consistency and excellence in food quality.
Menu Development:
- Contribute to the development of menus, bringing creativity and innovation to the culinary offerings.
- Stay informed about food trends and incorporate them into menu planning.
Quality Assurance:
- Monitor and maintain the quality and freshness of ingredients.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that dishes meet the established standards.
Team Collaboration:
- Foster a collaborative working environment, communicating effectively with kitchen teams in each restaurant.
- Support and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed.
Adaptability:
- Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to different kitchen layouts, equipment, and operational procedures.
- Efficiently manage time and resources to meet the demands of each restaurant.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a variety of culinary settings.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a high-volume, multi-restaurant environment.
- In-depth knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and international culinary trends.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Full Driving licence and own transport is essential
