Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant - HCA to join our team in providing personalized care and support to individuals living with dementia in our Nursing Home based in Co Dublin .

Contract Type:-

• Permanent, Full-time & Part-time
  

Duties:-

• Assist residents with activities of daily living
  
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, engaging in meaningful interactions and activities tailored to individual preferences and abilities
  
• Support residents in participating in recreational activities and therapeutic programs designed to promote social engagement
  
• Foster a safe and supportive environment for residents
  
• Participate in ongoing training and education initiatives to enhance knowledge and skills in dementia care and best practices
  
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with residents and their families
  

Requirements

• Only EU Nationals can apply
  
• QQI Level 5 Award - Healthcare or relevant qualification
  
• Excellent track record as a high performing Healthcare worker
  
• Excellent communication skills
  
• Excellent personal care abilities
  
• Previous experience as a healthcare assistant or similar role in a healthcare setting, preferably in dementia care
