Personal Care & Support Assistant

This role will require the successful candidate to be available for 12-hour shifts. Notice of shifts will be provided on a monthly basis.

The Ideal candidate would have previous experience working one on one with clients and would also be a compassionate and reliable individual capable of working on their own initiative.

My Homecare Homecarers must have the following:

• QQI Level 5 (' Care Skills' & 'Care of the elderly')
• Previous healthcare assistant experience
• Driving license and car

My Homecare Duties:

• Assisting with the client’s personal needs within their own home.
• Assisting with all aspects of the client’s daily living.
• Excellent observational skills.
• Reliability and commitment to client.
• Adhere to confidentiality policy at all times.
• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with the client and family.
• Providing personal care to meet the clients needs
• Ability to work well as part of a team of nurses and other Personal Assistants.
• Providing assistance to nurse and client/family.
