Osborne Recruitment is partnering with a leading provider of Mechanical & Electrical contracting services in Ireland. With decades of experience delivering complex projects across sectors like Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Public Works, Industrial, and Commercial, our client is renowned for its commitment to quality and excellence.

We are seeking a Quality Engineering Manager to join our client’s team in Waterford and lead their quality assurance efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy in line with industry standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of quality professionals, ensuring consistent quality across all projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to establish and maintain quality objectives.
• Conduct audits and assessments, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for quality assurance processes and systems.
• Serve as the primary contact for quality-related matters, fostering positive relationships with clients and regulatory authorities.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, integrating them into our processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of quality assurance experience, across construction or healthcare industries
• Proven leadership in quality assurance, with team management and continuous improvement experience.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Quality management certification (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, CQI) is highly desirable.
