DNCC Speech and Language Therapist, Clinical Specialist

The Speech and Language Therapist, Clinical Specialist will

• Provide a specialist support in Feeding, Eating. Drinking Swallowing (FEDS) for the client population.
• Act as a resource and provide expert opinion, advice and guidance to Speech and Language Therapy colleagues and other members of the CDNT.
• Participate in the development of the strategic direction of the FEDS service in conjunction with the CDNM, the Speech and Language Therapy and relevant agencies and stakeholders.
• Participate in development of Disability Regional Enhanced Specialised Services for FEDS with partner Lead Agencies to provide support to Primary Care and Children’s Disability Network Teams
• In conjunction with the CDNM and Speech and Language Therapy Manager, develop local policies and care pathways within the specialist area.
