Job Description - Export Manager ( Beer)

Job Title: Export Manager

Location: Hybrid (Based in the UK or Ireland)

Overview: Teamworx are looking for an EXPORT MANAGER for a high profile brewery based in Dublin, Ireland, specialising in high-quality craft beer.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in craft beer export and sales, with a strong understanding of international markets, particularly the UK, Europe, and North America. This hybrid role offers flexibility in working location, with the option to be based either in the UK or Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement export strategies to drive sales growth in key international markets (UK, Europe, North America).
  • Manage and expand the distributor network, fostering strong relationships with existing partners and identifying new opportunities for market penetration.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the craft beer industry across targeted regions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and production teams to ensure brand consistency and meet market demands.
  • Oversee all aspects of the export process, including logistics, compliance with international trade regulations, and documentation.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with international distributors and partners.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to senior management.
  • Attend international trade shows, industry events, and customer visits to promote the brand and establish strong market presence.
  • Monitor and manage export budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in export and sales within the craft beer industry.
  • Strong understanding of international trade regulations and export documentation.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding market presence.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Preferred Skills:

  • Multilingual abilities, particularly in languages relevant to key markets (e.g., French, German, Spanish).
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and e-commerce strategies for international markets.
  • Experience in brand management and marketing within the beverage industry.
