BIM Engineer

Are you a BIM Engineer looking to join a dynamic and progressive engineering company?

Rockwell are currently recruiting a BIM Engineer to join our team on a permanent & full-time basis. The initial location for this position will be Rockwell's headquarters in Cork City.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• You will be working on projects in the Mission Critical, Pharma, Med Tech, Advance and Manufacturing sectors.
• Working closely with tenders, bids, temporary works, site and project teams in the design and production of 2D, 3D and 4D BIM Models
• Contribute to the system and design development, coordination of building services layouts, management of drawing registers and standards.
• Collaborate closely with client representatives, project managers, site supervisors, and our internal design team. Additionally, you'll report directly to the Engineering Design Manager.
• Ensure the Modelling meets the required standards as set out in the BEP documentation.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Experience:

• Bachelor or Honours Degree (Level 7/8) in Mechanical Engineering
• Proficient in the use of any of the following BIM software packages (Revit MEP, BIM 360, AutoCAD, Solid Works, Navisworks)
• 2-3 years minimum of experience MEP Bim Coordination
• Ability to work in a vibrant multi discipline collaborative design environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong work ethic and self-starter
