Laboratory Technicans

The Bio Tech research are is growing significantly with many new firms looking to hire Talent.

A number of roles are now available in the new sector.

Back 4 Good are looking to find a number of Laboratory Technicians to preform a variety of laboratory experiments using both routine and specialised techniques and methods in the following areas.

Genotyping various platforms,

Comply with all applicable clinical laboratory standards protocols and requirements.

Follow the Laboratory’s procedures for specimen handling and processing test analyses ,reporting and maintaining records of patient test results.

Maintain records to demonstrate that proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient specimens .

Adhere to laboratory’s quality controls policies ,document all quality control activities,instrument and procedure calibrations and maintenance performed .

Organise performance maintenance of services as required in conjunction with laboratory staff and project schedules.

Be capable of identifying problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results and either correct the problems or immediately notify the supervisor.

Document all corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from the Laboratory’s established performance specifications.

You will require a Bachelors Degree in Biological Science or equivalent

Knowlege of Microsoft Office products.

Ability to read understand and comply with detailed work instructions and as part of a cohesive team .

Ability to multi-task and prioritise duties to meet deadlines.

Experience with high volume sample volumes NGS platforms ,six sigmas,lean manufacturing GMP/GLP/CLIA/ISO and software specification development an advantage

Previous experience in tissue culture.

Experience in SOPs

Experience with laboratory Information Management.
